You put down your substance of choice. Maybe you went to detox or rehab or quit on your own, congratulations!
Now the real work begins, life. Everyone talks about getting sober and abstaining from your vice, yet very few people talk or teach you how to live life with out your substance of choice. I am here to change that. I have lived through addiction and come out the other side. I know what works and I can help you not only survive but thrive in a life of recovery.
"What you are doing now impacts your tomorrow. How are you investing in yourself?"
Change causes change. By giving up your addiction you are also letting go of the things that surround it. The relationships based on your addiction will change, and thats ok. In early recovery I felt a deep sense of loneliness. I didn't know who I was or how to interact without my substance of choice. This goes away and I can show you how. I will teach you how to cultivate connections and maintain quality relationships where you don't have to feel alone.
Are you sober yet still feel unfulfilled? At work or in your relationship? Just unsure about what you are doing? Thought that everything would be perfect once you gave up your addiction? You’re not alone. If you’re thinking, “I need help with life,” it’s probably time to book a call. I can help you clarify your values so you can set meaningful goals for yourself and create an actionable plan of how you want to feel.
Life can get stressful. Plain and simple. When you combine all of our responsibilities, from work to family and social lives, it’s easy to see why we get so stressed out. You have also given up one of your copping mechanisms for all these stressors. I teach you how to cope with emotions and circumstances.. Anxiety and stress are not a good feelings, especially when it feels like the walls are caving in on you. Getting perspective and outside help is an integral part in helping you move past these emotions and live a full vibrant life in recovery.
You have been abstinent from your substance of choice but you need help getting to the next level. When you face major decisions about life changes, from taking a new job to getting married or divorced, I can offer you sound, unbiased guidance. I offer you a fresh perspective on why you haven’t been able to achieve your life goals, and how you can re-organize your life to empower you rather than to continue holding you back. I hold you accountable.
What untrue ideas do you hold about yourself? Do you consistently tell yourself that you’re not good enough? We all have battle scars, but some of us have trouble letting go of past experiences that limit and prevent us from moving forward in life and toward our goals. Holding on to terrible memories and feelings is both exhausting and counterproductive. This is a major issue for people in recovery . I can help you process your old beliefs and ideas in ways that allow you to work past counterproductive patterns.
If creating a clear actionable plan for your recovery and how you want to feel is hard for you, I am your go-to resource. I am trained and know proven strategies for success. I will help you get to where you want to be and how you want to feel. I have used these methods in my own life to achieve success. Don’t let your vision for your life fall by the wayside. “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”
Working with Jessica I discovered who I truly am. After having two kids and a failed marriage I lost myself. I didn't know what I wanted in life, what my purpose was, even my sense of style or even food that I liked. I was just trying to keep my head above water and keep everyone else happy. I lost who I was, my wants and my needs became a thing of the past. I learned how to put myself first and balance work and family as well. I would definitely recommend Jessica as a coach.
I hired Jessica to help understand my partner who was dealing with addiction issues. I found it very helpful talking to her because she has been through it. Jessica helped me to understand where my partner was coming from and why she was doing what she was doing. Though her support she helped me realize the I am in control and I needed to set boundaries and make better choices for myself. Jessica is funny and easy to talk to. I like how open and honest she was.
I was really struggling with drinking and trying to fit in. Everyone my age was doing it and having fun, but I knew it was more for me. It wasn't just fun and it became my life. I hated the way I felt and Jessica helped me realize that and move past why I was drinking in the first place. I felt like I could tell her anything and not be judged. Its nice to feel like someone is on your side and has been through the same thing.
