Sober Girl Super Bowl Team Drink Recipes
The Super Bowl is an iconic day for gathering with friends for food, drinks, and fun. If you're choosing to skip alcohol, here is what to sip on while soaking up the game-day excitement. Here are my two go-to batch mocktails for enjoying the Super Bowl party booze-free. Let's make this Super Bowl one to remember.
The Eagles Nojito (serves 6-8)
Cucumber Nojito
2 cups lime juice (20 limes or pre-made sugar-free limeade)
1 bunch fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
1 large cucumber to muddle and garnish
½ cup simple syrup (agave syrup works)
4-5 cans club soda or sparkling water
Lime slices for garnish
In a large pitcher, add lime juice, simple syrup, mint leaves, and half of the cucumber (chopped up). Use a muddler or a large spoon to crush the mint leaves and cucumber. Then add your lime juice. Do NOT add ice or sparkling water.
Serving: Fill a glass 1/2 full with the Nojito mixture, fill the other half with soda or sparkling water, and garnish with lime and cucumber slices and extra mint leaves.
The Chief-arita (Serves 6-8)
Cranberry Mockarita
2 cups fresh sugar-free cranberry juice
1 cup fresh lime juice (10 limes or pre-made sugar-free limeade)
2 oz agave syrup
1 cup of NA Tequila
If you don't have this, you can replace it with 1 cup of sparkling water or coconut water. Also, you can add some jalapeños if you want some kick.
Lime slice for garnish
In a large pitcher, mix cranberry juice, lime juice, agave, and NA tequila. Add cranberries and lime slices. Keep in the fridge until ready to serve. Do NOT add ice.
Serving: Fill glasses with crushed ice, pour the Mockarita mix over, and garnish with lime wedges.
Side Notes:
Sweetness Level – Adjust the simple syrup to taste. If you like it less sweet, start with less and add more if needed.
Keep It Cold – Chill all ingredients beforehand and use plenty of ice to keep your mocktail nice and cool.
